my first blog post! exciting! :)
micro glitter polishes have been the rave for awhile now and my oh my these pixies do not disappoint they are just perfection in a bottle! here I introduce The Pixie Trio from Fancy Gloss all micro glitters with excellent full coverage.

Diamond Pixie, Gold Pixie, Onyx Pixie

First up is Diamond Pixie, but first check out these bottle shots... sparkly isn't it?

for my swatch of Diamond Pixie I was able to make it fully opaque within two coats, for a glitter polish this was extremely easy to work with it didn't cake up at the tips and wasn't too thick at all. I will admit it was topcoat hungry though, meaning I applied on topcoat and once dried it still had a slight texture to it but a second coat of topcoat smoothed it out a lot better. however, this is my preference there's nothing wrong with one coat or no topcoat at all and keeping it at its natural textured finish.

Next up is Gold Pixie

Gold Pixie is a gorgeous shade of gold perfect for manis during the holiday season in my opinion, my swatch here shows it in two coats neither coat made the polish too thick which ALWAYS happens to me especially at the tip of the nail but that didn't happen with this glitter! this was another polish that was a bit topcoat hungry because of its textured finish but just like Diamond adding one more coat of topcoat smooths and evens it out a bit more :)

Lastly, here is Onyx Pixie

Onyx Pixie is a full coverage black micro glitter, I am a sucker for black polishes that when it was released to Jackie's shop I knew I needed it in my collection. for my swatch I used two coats and topcoat however, it was a little different from the other two and even though it does dry to a textured finish I only needed one coat of topcoat.
